Heathrow Terminal 4 lounges: full list, access routes and the SkyTeam rebuild

Heathrow Terminal 4 lounges total six rooms open at the time of writing, climbing to seven once the Air France flagship opens in spring 2026. T4 is the SkyTeam terminal at Heathrow plus Qatar Airways (around eight daily departures), Etihad, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Bulgaria Air, China Southern, Pakistan International Airlines (resumed March 2026), Vueling (started March 2026) and the rest of the long-haul carriers outside the three big alliances. The single most important change at T4 in the last two years is the rebuild of the old two-level SkyTeam Lounge. That space is now Plaza Premium Lounge T4 on the lower floor (opened October 2024, opposite gates 10A and 10B, 766 sq m, 147 seats) and the Saudia Lounge on the upper floor (opened 27 April 2025, 850 sq m, 174 seats). The Saudia Lounge is operated by Plaza Premium but, critically, is not a true SkyTeam lounge: it serves Saudia premium passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members on Saudia flights only. Passengers on Air France, KLM, Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern and Korean Air who would once have used the SkyTeam Lounge are now sent to Plaza Premium until Air France opens its own flagship. The Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge at T4 is currently closed; the table above covers departure lounges only. Hours and access reflect the operator pages at the time of writing; walk-up and Priority Pass prices change with demand and lead time. T4 dining outside the lounges is widely considered the thinnest at the airport, which makes a lounge stop more useful here than at T2 or T5; see Terminal 4 restaurants for the non-lounge options.

Two Plaza Premium-operated rooms cover the only independent paid-or-membership lounge access at Terminal 4. Both accept the same membership cards (Priority Pass, DragonPass, LoungeKey, Amex Platinum through the Amex programme) and the same walk-up paid entry; the practical choice is gate location and which one is less crowded on the day.

Plaza Premium Lounge T4 (the rebuilt main lounge)

The headline lounge at T4 and the rebuild of the lower floor of the old two-level SkyTeam Lounge. Opened in October 2024 at 766 square metres with seating for 147 guests, opposite gates 10A and 10B. Open 05:00 to 22:00 daily, the earliest opening at T4 and aligned with the morning Air France and KLM departure wave. Walk-up rates run at £47.52 for a two-hour pass and £64.80 for up to five hours at the time of writing; Priority Pass and DragonPass are accepted with no surcharge; Amex Platinum and Centurion holders enter through the Amex lounge programme. Floor-to-ceiling runway views, a quiet zone for work, hot and cold buffet, full bar, showers.

The honest framing on Plaza Premium T4: it carries the SkyTeam-adjacent passenger load that used to spread across the old SkyTeam Lounge plus its own independent customers. Around peak Air France and KLM departures (mid-morning, late afternoon) it fills hard; pre-booking through the Plaza Premium site or Priority Pass app is the safer call. The lounge is currently the only working route in for any Air France or KLM business-cabin passenger and any SkyTeam Elite Plus passenger on AF, KLM, VN, MU or KE flights; the Air France flagship, once open, will absorb most of that traffic.

Blush Lounge by Plaza Premium (near gate 2)

The second Plaza Premium-operated room at T4, near gate 2 on the same level as the main concourse. Renamed from a previous Plaza Premium lounge at the same site. Open 05:00 to 22:00 daily. Walk-up around £44 for two hours through the Plaza Premium site; Priority Pass, DragonPass and Amex Platinum accepted on the same terms as the main Plaza Premium room. The standout point: Blush is the only lounge at Heathrow that offers Kosher food as a published menu option, alongside the standard British and international cuisine. Free Wi-Fi, charging points, smaller floor plate than the main Plaza Premium room.

For a Priority Pass passenger at T4, the choice between Plaza Premium near gate 10 and Blush near gate 2 is mostly about which side of the terminal your gate is on. Blush is usually less crowded around the Air France and KLM peaks because it sits further from the SkyTeam carrier gates; if Plaza Premium is full at the door, Blush is the natural fallback.

The old two-level SkyTeam Lounge that served the alliance at T4 closed permanently in 2024. Both floors of the 1,600-square-metre footprint were rebuilt as separate operations: the lower as Plaza Premium Lounge T4 and the upper as the Saudia Lounge. Air France's own-brand flagship is the third piece of the rebuild and is scheduled for spring 2026.

Saudia Lounge T4

Opened on 27 April 2025 in the entire upper floor of the former SkyTeam Lounge. Operated by Plaza Premium on Saudia's behalf, with Saudia branding and a Saudia hospitality concept (Saudi coffee and dates at reception, Tea Bar in partnership with The London Tea Exchange, Arabian-styled VIP section). 850 square metres, capacity 174 guests, open 07:00 to 22:00 daily, covering Saudia's first and last flights of the day. Showers with Urban Apothecary amenities, prayer rooms, quiet zone, VIP area with à la carte dining for First class passengers.

The critical access point that often catches passengers out: the Saudia Lounge is not a true SkyTeam lounge, despite sitting in the former SkyTeam space. Access is restricted to Saudia Business and First passengers, Saudia Alfursan Gold frequent flyer members, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members only when travelling on Saudia. SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers travelling that day on Air France, KLM, Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern or Korean Air do not get in, regardless of cabin or status. This is unusual for a SkyTeam-adjacent space and reflects Saudia's choice to run the lounge as an airline-specific room rather than as an alliance facility. Affected SkyTeam premium passengers are sent to Plaza Premium until Air France opens its own flagship.

Air France Lounge T4 (opening spring 2026)

The third piece of the T4 SkyTeam rebuild and Air France's first own-brand lounge at Heathrow in 17 years. Announced by Air France in December 2025, scheduled to open in spring 2026; at the time of writing no confirmed public opening date has been published, so treat the timing as provisional and verify against heathrow.com if your trip is in the next few weeks. Around 750 square metres, 150 seats, designed in-house by Air France with agency SGK Brandimage and following the look of the carrier's newest lounges at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Boston Logan and Chicago O'Hare.

Confirmed amenities from the Air France press materials: dining areas built around French fine dining (the brief includes a La Première dedicated area with à la carte service), a bar with French wines and Champagne, a spa and relaxation zone, and dedicated workstations. Access for Air France La Première, Business class and Flying Blue Elite Plus passengers, plus eligible KLM passengers and SkyTeam partner travellers in the equivalent cabins or tiers. Once open, this lounge will be the natural home for Air France and KLM premium passengers, absorbing the Plaza Premium overflow that the SkyTeam-passenger rerouting created since April 2025.

Qatar Airways runs two lounges at Terminal 4, both currently operational and sharing a single entrance by gate 1. Both opened daily at 05:00 to 22:00, three hours before Qatar's first daily Heathrow departure to its last. Together they cover Qatar's eight daily Heathrow to Doha departures and the oneworld passenger load that uses Qatar's lounge facility at T4 by default (Qatar is a oneworld member based at T4 rather than T3 by long-standing operational arrangement).

Qatar Airways Premium Lounge T4

The flagship of Qatar's two T4 lounges and widely rated one of the strongest oneworld business-cabin rooms at Heathrow. Access for Qatar Airways First and Business class passengers on a same-day Qatar departure, Privilege Club Platinum members (Qatar's top-tier status), and oneworld Emerald passengers travelling on a Qatar flight. The room sits behind the Qatar Premium check-in area near gate 1A and 1B; a separate Premium check-in lane runs in parallel for the same passenger set, so the typical flow is check-in to lounge in one continuous Qatar-branded experience.

Inside: à la carte dining at the Premium dining room with a separate menu for First class, a full-service bar, work tables, showers, quiet zones, and a separate family room. The Qatar lounge product is consistent with the Doha home base on food, service and design, which makes this room the clear pick for any Qatar premium passenger at T4.

Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Lounge T4

The second Qatar Airways lounge at T4, built in 2022 specifically for status passengers in lower cabins. Sits on Level 2 opposite gate 6, accessed through the same entrance as the Premium Lounge by gate 1. Access for Qatar Airways Privilege Club Silver members, oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers travelling on a Qatar flight, plus British Airways Executive Club Joint Business partners on selected fare classes (the BA-Qatar joint business agreement covers reciprocal lounge access on shared routes).

The lounge is currently open and operational; earlier 2026 reports of a temporary closure no longer apply. Inside: a hot and cold buffet, full bar, work tables, and showers. Smaller floor plate than the Premium Lounge and a step down on food and finish, which is the deliberate positioning. The room is the right call for a oneworld Sapphire status holder flying Qatar in economy who would not get into the Premium Lounge; the alternative is the Plaza Premium room, paid or via Priority Pass.

Etihad's own lounge at T4, operated by Etihad since December 2019 (No1 Lounges ran the same space briefly from October 2018 to late 2019 under the original House branding). Sits opposite gate 10, near the Plaza Premium and Saudia rooms in the same airside zone. Open 06:00 to 22:00 daily, aligned with Etihad's four daily Heathrow to Abu Dhabi departures.

Complimentary access for Etihad Residence, First and Business class passengers, plus Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum members on a same-day Etihad departure. Paid walk-up entry is available at around £40 booked online through Etihad's site or £50 paid at reception, subject to capacity. The lounge accepts boarding passes for any airline at T4 for the paid entry, not just Etihad flights, which makes it a useful option for a passenger on a non-Etihad flight without lounge access elsewhere.

The honest framing on The House: the lounge fills hard around Etihad's A380 departures, particularly the morning peak. Reviews regularly note standing-room-only periods and walk-ups turned away at the door on busy days. As a paid option it is competitive with Plaza Premium on price; on food and finish The House sits a clear step above. For a passenger with the option of either, The House is the better walk-up choice at T4 outside of Etihad's own peak windows.

Five access routes cover entry to the T4 lounges. Most passengers have exactly one route on a given trip; a few combine, for example an Etihad Guest Gold member who also holds Priority Pass.

SkyTeam business or first cabin and SkyTeam status. The route here is currently fragmented because of the SkyTeam-to-Saudia handover. Saudia premium passengers and Saudia Alfursan Gold members get the Saudia Lounge. Air France business-cabin passengers, KLM business-cabin passengers, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members travelling on Air France, KLM, Vietnam Airlines, China Eastern or Korean Air get the Plaza Premium Lounge for the moment, and will get the Air France lounge once it opens in spring 2026. Premium-cabin tickets also bundle Fast Track security.

Qatar Airways or oneworld status on Qatar. Qatar Business and First passengers, Privilege Club Platinum, and oneworld Emerald get the Qatar Premium Lounge. Privilege Club Silver, oneworld Sapphire and oneworld Emerald in economy get the Qatar Frequent Flyer Lounge. Other oneworld carriers operating from T4 (Malaysia Airlines, Royal Air Maroc) admit their own status and premium passengers to their respective home airports rather than at Heathrow, so a Malaysia Business class passenger at T4 typically goes to the Qatar Premium Lounge via the oneworld Sapphire entitlement on Malaysia.

Etihad premium or status. Etihad Residence, First and Business class passengers plus Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum get The House complimentary. Any other passenger at T4 can pay walk-up to The House at around £40 online or £50 at the door, subject to capacity.

Lounge membership and paid entry. Priority Pass, DragonPass and LoungeKey cover the Plaza Premium and Blush lounges. Amex Platinum and Centurion holders get the same two through the Amex lounge programme. Walk-up at Plaza Premium runs around £47 for a two-hour pass and £65 for five hours; Blush around £44 for two hours. None of the airline lounges at T4 (Saudia, the two Qatar Airways lounges, The House when not paying walk-up, or Air France when it opens) is on Priority Pass or DragonPass.
