Heathrow Terminal 3 lounges: full list, access routes and the flagship picks

Heathrow Terminal 3 lounges cover more access routes than any other terminal at the airport. The mix sits across three groups: 11 airline lounges serving oneworld members (British Airways, Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, Qantas), Virgin Atlantic on the SkyTeam side, and Emirates outside the alliances; four independent rooms open through Amex cards, Priority Pass, DragonPass, or paid entry; and two arrivals lounges for travellers off a long-haul red-eye. Most of the cluster sits in the Lounge H zone near gates 13 to 22; the American Express Centurion Lounge sits on the second floor near Flight Connections; the BA Galleries lounges sit at Lounge F. Four independent lounges sit at Terminal 3: the American Express Centurion Lounge on the second floor and three No1 Lounges-operated rooms in the Lounge H area. The three No1 sites (No1 Lounge, Clubrooms, My Lounge) opened or reopened across 2025 as part of a full redevelopment of the operator's T3 footprint. Together they cover every meaningful paid-or-membership route: Amex card, Priority Pass, DragonPass, paid walk-up.

American Express Centurion Lounge T3

The only Centurion Lounge in Europe and the most exclusive of the four card-or-pay rooms at T3. Opened late 2021 as the first Centurion lounge outside the United States. Sits on the second floor near the Flight Connections sign, accessed by a lift and an escalator from the main concourse. Open 05:30 to 21:00 daily. Access is restricted to American Express Platinum (US and UK issuance) and Centurion cardholders on a same-day departing boarding pass; the lounge is not on Priority Pass. Inside: a full-service bar, a hot kitchen run by a named London chef, work tables, showers, and a wellness room.

Two access changes land on 8 July 2026 and matter for any cardholder bringing guests. From that date, every guest must be travelling on the same flight as the cardholder; a friend on a separate booking that day no longer gets in. And on a layover, the cardholder must arrive within five hours of the connecting flight; arriving earlier puts the cardholder outside the access window. Up to two complimentary guests per visit are still permitted, subject to the same-flight rule. The eight-hour-pre-departure rule on cardholder access elsewhere does not yet apply at Heathrow.

No1 Lounge T3

The mainstream paid-entry option in T3's Lounge H zone. Reopened in April 2025 after a three-month refurbishment that split the original 970-square-metre footprint between the No1 Lounge and the new Clubrooms (see below). The refit shrank No1 marginally by removing the showers, spa and bedroom area (those facilities moved out of the No1 footprint in the redesign). Open 05:00 to 22:00 daily. Access: walk-up, pre-booked through no1lounges.com, Priority Pass pre-bookable through the app from around £24 in advance, DragonPass. Hot and cold buffet, full bar, work tables, free fast Wi-Fi.

Consistently rated the strongest Priority Pass option at T3 on food, calm and seating. The pre-book is the practical reason to pick No1 over walk-in entry at peak: school holidays, the summer wave, and Friday-evening peaks all see No1 turn walk-ups away when capacity fills.

Clubrooms T3

The premium offshoot from No1, opened alongside the No1 refit in April 2025 and built in the space No1 gave up in the redesign. Floor plate 390 square metres with capacity for around 116 guests. Adults only (12 and over), à la carte morning and afternoon menus with hosted table service, a separate bar, an Orangery space with a centrepiece olive tree, and runway views. Pre-bookable on Priority Pass with a £15 supplement on top of the standard PP membership charge; walk-up and direct pre-bookings are sold on the No1 Lounges site at a higher rate than the No1 next door.

Clubrooms sits between No1 and the airline flagships on quality and price. For travellers without lounge access from a ticket or status, it is the closest thing to a flagship experience at T3 without an oneworld premium-cabin ticket. Reviews rate the food a clear step above No1 and a step below Cathay First or the Virgin Clubhouse.

My Lounge T3 (formerly Club Aspire)

The third No1 Lounges-operated room at T3, opened in July 2025 in the space of the old Club Aspire lounge. No1 publicly stated it intends to phase out the Club Aspire brand, which is the reason for the rename; searchers who remember the old name should still find it at the same physical location. Modern, Scandinavian-inspired loft design. Open 05:00 to 22:00 daily. Access: walk-up, Priority Pass (pre-bookable through the app), DragonPass.

The most casual of the four independents at T3, and the family-friendly option of the three No1 sites. Lighter food offer than No1 or Clubrooms, faster turnover, and a larger floor plate. Best fit for a short pre-flight stop on a Priority Pass when No1 is full and Clubrooms is overkill.

Seven lounges cover the British Airways and broader oneworld passenger base at T3: two BA Galleries lounges, two Cathay Pacific lounges, two American Airlines lounges plus the American Arrivals Lounge that doubles as BA's arrivals room, and the Qantas London Lounge. Access is alliance-shared: a oneworld Sapphire ticket holder has free run of all the oneworld lounges at T3 their alliance tier permits, including the Cathay First lounge if the tier is Emerald. The British Airways Concorde Room, the flagship of the BA lounge set, sits at Terminal 5, not T3.

BA Galleries Club T3

The everyday BA business-cabin lounge at T3, in the Lounge F zone. Access for BA Club Europe and Club World passengers on a same-day BA departure from T3, plus BA Club Silver members on any oneworld departure, plus oneworld Sapphire on any oneworld departure. Hot and cold buffet, full bar, work tables, showers, and a quiet zone. Refurbished in the mid-2020s with a brighter colour palette and reworked seating zones. The BA T3 footprint is smaller than at T5; the lounge fills at the BA long-haul morning peak.

BA Galleries First T3

The higher-tier BA lounge at T3, next door to Galleries Club in the Lounge F zone. Access for BA First passengers (BA flies First from T3 on a limited number of routes), BA Club Gold members on any oneworld departure, oneworld Emerald, and Gold Guest List. Calmer than Club, with a smaller floor plate, table service for part of the menu, and a separate dining area. Open the same hours as Galleries Club. For the full BA flagship experience including the Concorde Room and the First Wing, the right room is at Terminal 5; T3 carries only a thin slice of the BA First operation.

Cathay Pacific Business Class Lounge T3

Cathay's standard oneworld business-class room, in the Lounge C zone on the second floor (lift or stairs up from the main concourse). The two Cathay lounges share a roughly 13,000-square-foot footprint, with the Business Lounge holding two-thirds of the space. Open 05:30 to 21:00 daily. Access for oneworld Sapphire and Emerald passengers travelling that day on a oneworld carrier in business or higher. Noodle bar (the standout point, with the Cathay signature dan dan noodles and wonton soup), full a la carte and self-service offer, full bar, work tables, showers. One of the busier oneworld business lounges at T3 and the right call for a longer pre-flight stop.

Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge T3

The smaller of the two Cathay rooms (around one-third of the 13,000-square-foot footprint, with limited seating) and the consensus pick for the best lounge at any Heathrow terminal. Access for oneworld Emerald, oneworld First, and BA Club Gold passengers on a oneworld departure that day. The Dining Room serves a full à la carte menu with the chef's signature dishes (the lobster bisque, the signature beef brisket noodle); the Bamford-amenity showers and the Cabanas private rest rooms are the other standouts. Open 05:30 to 21:00 daily, same as the Business Lounge.

The honest framing: Cathay First is small (the brief calls out around 30 seats and the room runs roughly to that capacity), which is why it stays calm even when the rest of T3 is busy, and why entry is restricted to the higher oneworld tier. If you qualify, this is the lounge to use at T3; nothing else at the terminal beats it on the day.

American Airlines Admirals Club T3

The everyday American business-cabin lounge, in the Lounge H zone near gates 13 to 22. Access for AA Business passengers on a same-day AA departure, oneworld Sapphire on any oneworld departure, AAdvantage Executive Platinum and Platinum Pro on any oneworld departure. Hot and cold buffet, full bar, work tables, showers, family room. The American footprint at T3 sits directly underneath the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in the same Lounge H block.

American Airlines Flagship Lounge T3 (formerly Flagship First / International First Lounge)

The higher-tier American lounge, immediately adjacent to the Admirals Club. Access for AA International First passengers, AA Flagship Business passengers on three-class transcontinental routes, oneworld Emerald on any oneworld departure, oneworld First passengers. Smaller, calmer than the Admirals next door, with a table-service Dining Room, a separate bar, and shower suites. American's premium presence at T3 has shrunk since the carrier dropped standalone First class internationally, but the Flagship room still sits a clear notch above the Admirals on food and seating.

American Airlines Arrivals Lounge T3 (used by BA too)

The arrivals counterpart to the Admirals and Flagship lounges, in the T3 arrivals hall. Access for AA Business and First passengers off a long-haul arrival, AA Concierge Key cardholders, British Airways Club World and First passengers off a BA long-haul arrival, and BA Club Gold members off a BA long-haul. Open 05:00 to 14:00 daily to catch the long-haul arrival window. Showers, hot breakfast, pressing service, and a separate quiet zone. The lounge doubles as BA's de facto T3 arrivals room because BA does not operate its own arrivals lounge at T3 (the BA First arrivals at T5 is the equivalent for T5 arrivals).

Qantas London Lounge T3

The standout of the oneworld business-class rooms at T3, in the Lounge H block. Voted the favourite airline lounge in the United Kingdom at the Head for Points Travel and Loyalty Awards 2025 (a joint award shared with the Cathay Pacific First Class Lounge across the two categories). Open 06:00 to 21:00 daily. Access for Qantas Business and First passengers on a same-day Qantas or partner oneworld departure, Qantas Platinum and Chairman's Lounge members, oneworld Emerald, oneworld First. Marble bars on both floors, feature staircase, wood-panelled upper floor, à la carte dining available for roughly five hours a day around the Qantas departure peak, full-service bar, work pods, showers. The design carries a clear British accent on a Qantas frame.

The practical choice for a oneworld Sapphire passenger at T3 sits between the Cathay Business Lounge (best noodle bar, busiest) and the Admirals Club (closest to most AA gates). For Emerald-tier passengers, Cathay First and Qantas (when à la carte service is on) are the two strongest picks; Galleries First sits a step behind.

Two Virgin Atlantic lounges sit at T3: the Clubhouse for departing Upper Class and equivalent passengers, and the Revivals lounge for arriving ones. Together they are the heart of Virgin's London operation. The carrier joined SkyTeam in March 2023 but stayed at T3 (the move to T4 was never on the table) because of the Delta joint venture and the depth of the Clubhouse operation.

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse T3

The second flagship at T3 after Cathay First, and one of the largest business-class lounges in the world at over 25,000 square feet. Sits in the Upper Class Wing in the Lounge H block, reached via Virgin's dedicated Fast Track security channel in the Upper Class Wing rather than the standard security hall. Open 05:30 to 22:30 daily, or the last departure, built around Virgin's morning long-haul wave to North America.

Access for Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers and Flying Club Gold members, each with a guest travelling on the same flight, plus Delta One passengers on a joint-venture Delta departure from T3. Virgin directs broader SkyTeam Elite Plus members on other SkyTeam carriers to the No1 Lounge rather than the Clubhouse. Not on Priority Pass.

The lounge entered a phased refurbishment in early 2026. Phase 1 finished in March 2026 and the lounge is open with the new cinema area, work pods, Royal Box VIP area, and a refreshed Gallery space. Phase 2 is scheduled later in 2026 and is expected to cover the outdoor rooftop terrace (the only lounge terrace at LHR), with Virgin not yet committing to a public date. The Clubhouse stayed open throughout Phase 1; expect the same approach to Phase 2. À la carte dining at any seat is the standout service feature, alongside wellness treatments that run as rotating pop-ups. Virgin Atlantic Revivals Lounge T3

The arrivals counterpart to the Clubhouse, less than five minutes' walk from customs in the T3 arrivals hall. Access for Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers and Flying Club Gold members off a long-haul arrival, plus eligible Delta One passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus passengers. Open 05:00 to 12:30 daily, built to catch the inbound long-haul red-eye wave. Twenty shower suites (the largest set at any Heathrow arrivals lounge), a full breakfast menu with waiter service or QR-code ordering, pressing service for business attire, and Wi-Fi for emails before the meeting. The reliable shower-and-breakfast option after a transatlantic overnight flight.

The odd one out at T3, in the sense that it sits outside any of the alliance lounge programmes. Emirates is a non-aligned carrier and runs a single own-brand lounge for its Heathrow operation. The lounge sits in the Lounge E zone near gates 1 to 11, reached by heading left through the airside duty free, past the Qantas lounge, and down the corridor past Cathay. Open 06:00 to 22:30 daily. Access for Emirates First and Business class passengers on a same-day Emirates departure, plus Skywards Platinum and Gold members on any Emirates departure.

The standout point: Emirates is the only airline at Heathrow with direct boarding from the lounge. Two gates feed straight off the lounge itself: door A leads through to the upper deck at Gate 7 (the A380 routing), door B to Gate 5. A lounge attendant opens the gate at boarding time; once the boarding pass and passport are checked, the jetbridge is a few steps away. For passengers connecting through Heathrow to an Emirates A380 long-haul, this is a structural time saver against a standard gate walk. Inside the lounge: a hot and cold buffet, à la carte add-ons in the dining section, a full bar, work tables, showers, and a separate quiet zone.

T3 has more entry routes than any other Heathrow terminal. Most passengers have exactly one route on a given trip; a few combine, for example a oneworld Sapphire passenger who also holds Priority Pass.

oneworld business-cabin or status. A oneworld Sapphire ticket or status gets you into the BA Galleries Club, Cathay Business, American Admirals, and Qantas London lounges on any oneworld departure. A oneworld Emerald ticket or status adds Cathay First, BA Galleries First, the American Flagship Lounge, and the Qantas London Lounge upgrade tier. BA Club Silver maps to oneworld Sapphire; BA Club Gold to oneworld Emerald. Premium-cabin tickets on BA, American, Cathay, Qantas, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan and Alaska Airlines all carry the matching lounge access. Most premium tickets also bundle Fast Track security at the standard T3 security hall (Virgin Atlantic Upper Class uses the separate Upper Class Wing security).

Virgin Atlantic status or premium ticket. Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, Flying Club Gold members, SkyTeam Elite Plus, Delta One, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Gold and PPS Club / Solitaire PPS (on Singapore flights), and Air New Zealand Elite all get the Clubhouse. The Revivals arrivals lounge runs to a tighter list of Upper Class and Flying Club Gold off a long-haul arrival.

Emirates status or premium ticket. Emirates First and Business class on a same-day Emirates departure, plus Skywards Platinum and Gold members on any Emirates departure. Skywards Silver does not get in. The lounge is not on any alliance shared programme; Emirates does not participate in oneworld, SkyTeam or Star Alliance lounge sharing.

American Express card. Amex Platinum (US and UK issuance) and Centurion cardholders get the Centurion Lounge on the second floor. The 8 July 2026 rule changes (guests must be on the same flight; cardholder must arrive within five hours of a connecting flight) apply at Heathrow alongside the rest of the network. Amex Platinum and Centurion holders also get walk-in entry to the No1 Lounge and certain other independent lounges through the Amex lounge programme, depending on the card's issuance.

Lounge membership. Priority Pass covers three of the four independent rooms at T3: No1 Lounge, Clubrooms (with a £15 supplement), and My Lounge. DragonPass and LoungeKey cover broadly the same set with operator-by-operator variation. The Centurion Lounge is not on Priority Pass; none of the airline lounges at T3 is on Priority Pass.

Paid entry. Pay at the door or pre-book online at any of the three No1-operated lounges. Walk-up at No1 runs around £40; pre-booked is a few pounds less; Priority Pass pre-booking is around £24 in advance. Clubrooms sits a tier above No1 on price. My Lounge is the cheapest of the three.
